from the beach 10s have more credibility
There's nothing 'sad' about it.
Snap could actually be pretty cool.
I think now that we know that great games won't be a problem we can take a more measured view of all the 'TV' stuff.
Great job!
I'm all for this, really.. it just seems like very vocal people of my age kicked up against digital and pushed everything back a few years.
Kids growing up today have no such attachments to discs though. It really feels like one of those generation-clash, ``better in my day`` issues!
I think they'll dive into the Rare back-catalogue this gen if KI proves a hit.
Thought that said 'Smoosh' for a second..
Blast from the past..
I've much preferred Microsoft's exclusives this generation - no-one is 'acting', it's just one person's opinion against another. I would say their best individual years were 2008 and 2010.
Xbox fan - "Xbox One will launch first!"
Sony fan - "PS4 will launch first!"
Hard not to link the two events!
The general perception of Xbox One seems to have changed quite a bit in the past couple of months following some aggressive policy changes.
Price is the final piece of the puzzle - although for me the package they're offering, including launch lineup, is worth the extra £80..
There's some beautiful symmetry in the fact it's going up against SM3DW this winter..
And yet, what just happened to Fish is the embodiment of why it's NOT nonsense.
Well said..
Our 'indie auteur' friends like to think they're separate from the machine but they need it as much, in fact more, than the big companies.
How about Ravi Drums? :p
It's a pity Kinect Sports Rivals isn't at launch, but the fact that there was no footage of it (and only scant details) was ominous to say the least.
I think most of the other day one stuff uses Kinect.. Zoo Tycoon looks like it does, Ryse does a bit, and of course all games use it for ID-ing etc.
The face of indie.
Embarrassed for people who think this.
Gaming goes on.
A lot of people think Ryse is the best looking launch game, and it's a legitimate opinion, you don't need to be a fanboy to think that.
When the next Quantic Dream game comes out, if it's part of the 'second wave', we'll compare it against the titles it releases alongside.
But when you compare day one games for Xbox One and PS4 there clearly isn't a big difference - this had seemed puzzling, less so now given the revelations over t...
More importantly it will have Wonderful 101, SM3DW and DKC Tropical Freeze by then..
